Assessment and Evaluation

At The Mahabodhi Tree, we believe that evaluation plays a vital role in building habits of regular, focused, and systematic work among students. Our assessment system is designed to offer a holistic understanding of each learner’s progress, helping them grow academically and personally.

In alignment with CBSE guidelines, we conduct two internal evaluations each academic year. Question papers are carefully structured into sections that reflect the prescribed syllabus and learning objectives.

Final Term Examination(s) for Grades I–IX and XI are held in February/March, with results declared in the last week of March. For students of Classes X and XII, Pre-Board Examinations are organized in December and January to provide thorough preparation for their board exams.

Each term concludes with the issuance of a Comprehensive Report Card, offering insights into students’ achievements, strengths, and areas for improvement.

EVALUATION & REPORT CARD

At The Mahabodhi Tree, our evaluation system is designed to track every student’s academic progress, personal growth, and overall development. Assessments are conducted periodically to ensure consistent learning and to identify areas that need improvement.
Report cards are issued after each term, providing a clear summary of academic performance, teacher observations, and co-curricular achievements. Parents are encouraged to review these reports carefully and discuss feedback with their ward. Report cards must be signed and returned within the stipulated time. Duplicate copies may be issued on request with a nominal fee.
