At The Mahabodhi Tree, a strong partnership between parents and the school supports each child’s academic and personal growth. To maintain a safe, disciplined, and nurturing residential environment, parents/guardians are requested to follow the guidelines below:

Campus Visits & Communication

• Visit academic or hostel areas only with prior permission; avoid entering during class hours.

• Check your ward’s school diary regularly and sign homework and teacher remarks.

• Update the school immediately regarding any change in address, phone number, or email.

• Carry your parent ID card for all campus visits.

Academic & Behavioural Support

• Encourage regular academic effort, participation in activities, and balanced discipline.

• Support your ward in overcoming weaknesses with patience.

• Ensure students bring only required books; unnecessary items are not permitted.

• Avoid criticizing school/teachers in front of your child.

• Restrict pocket money and discourage unnecessary spending.

Attendance & Health

• Do not send students back to school/hostel if unwell.

• Ensure completion of missed work after any absence.

• Inform the school about any medical issues or ongoing treatment.

Safety, Security & Discipline

• Ensure proper grooming, uniform, and punctual return after home visits.

• Label all personal belongings; the school is not responsible for unlabelled items.

• Prohibited items: crackers, Holi colours, mobile phones, gadgets, transistors, etc. Strict action will be taken.

• Only parents/authorized persons may pick up students; report at reception for early exits.

• Students will not be allowed to leave the campus during school hours except for emergencies with parental presence.

• Avoid scheduling appointments during school or hostel hours.
